Wine for EVERYONE!

Gary Hofmann opened Old Fairhaven Wines in 2004 with the idea to sell great wines at affordable prices along with wonderful gifts and Seattle Saltwater Taffy. He kept the business successful for many years, even throughout the rough years of the Recession. However, in early 2012 he finally felt that maybe it was time for him to move on. This same year Chris & April Baetz (husband and wife) along with Chris's brother, Sean Baetz, were considering starting a business for themselves. When they heard that Gary was considering selling Old Fairhaven Wines they saw it as the perfect opportunity for them. 

In April 2012 they officially took over the business from Gary. They wanted to keep the spirit of Old Fairhaven Wines the same and continue to sell great wines and gifts at good prices, but that wasn't all they wanted to do. They were all beer lovers at heart, especially the Baetz brothers, and decided to bring in much more craft beers to the store. April Baetz also wanted to offer a lot more local wines. She had visited many of the local wineries before and had been very impressed with their wines. So now they are all now looking forward to the future of the business and how it will grow.

They want to make everyone feel welcome in their store. Whether you are an avid wine connoisseur with a big wine budget, or a frugal shopper looking for a great deal on a great wine, they can help. They have new wines every week and on the first saturday of every month they sample a few of their craft beers.
